Jet Boat
At the end of the Grand Traverse Guided Walk, all walkers are given the option (subject to weather conditions, timing and availability) to end their walk with an exhilarating trip on the Dart River by jet boat. You will be collected from the Dart Bridge at the end of the Routeburn Road and taken on a 1.5 hour breathtakingly scenic ride along the Dart River into the beautiful wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park. You will then be whisked to Glenorchy where you will meet your walking guides for a drink and your group photo before the return transfer to Queenstown.
Please note that this option is a special excursion for Ultimate Hikes walkers and can only be booked and paid for on the day.
